The Cranex Tome X-Ray unit is a versatile extra-oral dental system.  This particular unit not only takes standard Panoramic and Cephalometric radiographs but cross-sectional Spiral Tomograms, TMJ Tomograms, Scanograms and TMJ Scanograms, which may be required for some dental cases.

Not only is the Cranex Tome x-ray machine extremely versatile with the ability to produce a variety of x-rays using different imaging principles and techniques, but it also uses 80% less radiation than standard x-ray units.  By applying the ALARA principle (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) the Cranex Tome gives the lowest possible dose necessary to obtain diagnostic information, thus giving patients high quality x-rays and peace of mind!
